rezumat
In the last decades, the Internet has aroused a wave of enthusiasm that is difficult to be compared with the one of other technological advances. In this paper, I start from the concept of "implicit religion" in order to analyse language-level similarities between traditional religions and the Internet as a religion, mentioning the myth-making process of the Internet. I include the example of the Church of Reality, a religion formed on the Internet and inspired by it, and I explore the role that the Internet has in its doctrine.
