abstract

A decade after the technology allowed the “domestication” of video games and after their full integration into the everyday life and practice of large audience, the fascination exerted by interactivity and the digital revolution of the early 2000s led to the emergence of new academic collocations, known as game studies (Aarseth, 2001) or video game theory (Wolf & Peron, 2003).

Une décennie après la technologie eut permis la “domestication” des jeux vidéo and apres leur pleine intégration dans la vie quotidienne et les pratiques du grand public, la fascination exercée par l’interactivité et la révolution numérique du début des années 2000 a conduit a une émergence des nouvelles collocations universitaires, connu comme études du jeu, game studies (Aarseth, 2001), ou la théorie du jeu vidéo, video game theory (Wolf & Peron, 2003).
