abstract

Media have become over time an important source of information concerning religious problems and thus, they shape opinions and trigger attitudes. Communicators can frame a social issue and these frames, in turn, influence beliefs about who is responsible for causing and addressing a problem. The purpose of this paper is to use attribution theory to examine press coverage in Romania dealing with issues concerning religious leaders.

Les médias sont devenus une importante source d’information concernant les problèmes religieux et par conséquent, modèlent les opinions et provoquent des attitudes. Le but de cet article est d’utiliser la théorie de l’attribution pour analyser la couverture médiatique des problèmes concernant les leaders religieux en Roumanie.
